COUNCIL REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS

Site Setup

Temporary Fencing: Installed as per site and safety requirements.

Silt and Sediment Control: Applied where necessary to prevent soil erosion and protect stormwater systems.<br>

Crossover Protection: Installed if required to protect council assets like footpaths and driveways.<br>

Rubbish Cage: Provided on-site to manage construction waste effectively.

Energy Efficiency – Seven Star Rating

  • The home must comply with the Nationwide House Energy Rating Scheme (NatHERS) to achieve a Seven Star Energy Rating, ensuring better energy efficiency and comfort.

Termite Treatment

  • Part A and Part B termite protection must be applied as per the local council requirements, where applicable, to safeguard the structure from termite damage.

Building Permit & Certifications

  • Building Permit: Required before starting construction.

  • Appointed Building Surveyor: To assess compliance with building regulations.

  • Occupancy Permit: Required before the home can be legally occupied.

Notes & Exclusions

Properties in bushfire-prone areas are not covered under the standard base inclusion.
